Be invigorated as never before. Take a Polar Bear Plunge into the Atlantic Ocean! LaCosta Lounge sponsors this unbearable event. All proceeds benefit city wide events sponsored by the Sea Isle City Chamber of Commerce and Revitalization.
Participants must be 12 years and older. Fees $25 non-refundable entry fee and you will receive a Polar Bear T-shirt and entry wristband. Please note that in order to be eligibile for the costume contest you MUST be registered for the PLUNGE.
STARTING POINT: Registered Polar Bear Plungers may go directly to JFK and the Beach. The Plunge begins promptly at 2:00pm. Only Polar Bear Plungers with wristbands from regrestration will be allowed in the roped off plunge area. All Polar Bear Plungers must line up on the beach behind the starting line and (WAIT FOR THE OFFICIAL START). Swimsuits or costumes only. NO WET SUITS.
POST PLUNGE PARTY 2:30pm to close at LaCosta Lounge (Open to the Public). All registered PLUNGERS recieve complimentary entry into the La Costa Tents & Lounge. Entertainnment includes Split Decision, The Insiders, Blacthorn,Gypsy Wisdom, The Rockets, FunZaLuv, and more!
